What Does a CNA Do at AmaVeraCare?
As a Certified Nursing Assistant with AmaVeraCare, you’ll be the heart of our home care services. Your daily responsibilities will include:
Personal Care Assistance Help clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support. You’ll work to maintain their dignity and independence while ensuring their comfort and safety.
Health Monitoring & Documentation Monitor and record vital signs, observe changes in clients’ conditions, and report any concerns to our nursing staff. Your attention to detail helps ensure clients receive the responsive care they need.
Companionship & Emotional Support Beyond physical care, you’ll provide meaningful companionship that enriches your clients’ daily lives. Whether it’s engaging in conversation, accompanying them on walks, or simply being a friendly presence, you’ll help combat isolation and loneliness.
Light Household Support Assist with meal preparation, medication reminders, and light housekeeping tasks that help clients maintain a clean, comfortable living environment.
Family Communication Serve as a vital link between clients and their families, keeping loved ones informed and providing peace of mind that their family member is receiving attentive, quality care.
Requirements for CNA Positions
To join our team, you’ll need:
- Current, valid CNA certification in the state of Missouri
- Clean background check and drug screening
- Reliable transportation to reach client homes throughout the St. Louis area
- Strong communication skills and a genuine desire to help others
- Ability to follow care plans and work both independently and as part of a team
- Physical capability to perform caregiving duties, including lifting and assisting with mobility
